ICBC Personal Internet Banking Transaction Rules
 

Article I Transaction Qualification

1. Registration

The Applicant with the Bank card or passbook may be permitted to use the ICBC Personal Internet Banking after registering at any branch of the Bank.

2. Halt of Transaction

If an incorrect Log-in Password has been input for 3 consecutive times within the same day, the access to the ICBC Personal Internet Banking will be automatically halt for one day and will be available again the next day. Consequently, if an incorrect Log-in Password has been input for 6 accumulate times, such password will be automatically cancelled in which the Applicant will need to reset the Log-in Password at any branch of the Bank.

If an incorrect Transaction Password has been input for 5 accumulate times within the same day, the access to the ICBC Personal Internet Banking will be automatically halt for one day and will be available again the next day. Consequently, if an incorrect Transaction Password has been input for 10 accumulate times, such password will be automatically cancelled in which the Applicant will need to apply for the new Code Card at any branch of the Bank.

If an incorrect Certificate Password has been input for 6 accumulate times, the USBShield will be automatically cancelled in which the Applicant will need to reset the Certificate Password at any branch of the Bank.

If an incorrect start up password had been input, the E-Password Token will automatically be locked and will be available again on the next day, except the Applicant may unlock the E-Password Token on the same day by using the unlock challenge code displayed in the E-Password Token at any branch of the Bank. If the E-Password Token is locked for 6 accumulate times, the Applicant will need to reset the start up password at any branch of the Bank. 

3. Other regulations for the use of the ICBC Personal Internet Banking

(1) The valid times of the Code Card are 1000. The Applicant needs to apply to renew the Code Card within 90 days after the using date of the last one at any branch of the Bank.

(2) The valid period of USB-Shield is 5 years. The Applicant needs to apply to renew USBShield within 90 days after expiration date at any branch of the Bank.

(3) The E-Password Token will be used until the battery icon in the upper left will keep flashing when the battery is running low. If the warning appears, the Applicant needs to apply for a new E-Password Token at any branch of the Bank.

Article III Transaction Hours

The ICBC Personal Internet Banking is available 24-hour a day. However, Bahtnet Transfer service is available during 8.00 AM. – 2.30 PM. on business day.

Article IV Transaction Limit

Code Card – Daily accumulative limit is 200,000 Baht

E-Password Token – Daily accumulative limit is 10,000,000 Baht

USB-Shield – Daily accumulative limit is 10,000,000 Baht

Remark:

For outward remittance equal or more than USD50,000 or the equivalent in other currencies, relevant documents shall be submitted as required by the Bank of Thailand.

For outward remittance equal or more than USD50,000 or the equivalent in other currencies, the recipient is required to submit a Foreign Exchange Transaction form.

Some type of Global Outward funds transfers require approval from the BOT before being sent abroad.

The time required for a funds transfer differs with the time zone being transferred to and the business hours of commercial banks in each country.

The bank is not allowed to make money transfers to countries on the sanction list of OFAC or account with Sanction Countries.

Article V Others

The Bank will make an announcement in advance when the service is to be suspended more than 3 hours due to an upgrade of the Bank’s website or the ICBC Personal Internet Banking. To check for any announcement please click the "Announcement" on the website. The Bank reserves the right to specify, amend, add or change these ICBC Personal Internet Banking Transaction Rules.
