The U.S. dollar changed hands just below the 110 yen line in early deals in Tokyo on Friday, marginally lower than its levels overnight in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 109.88-89 yen compared with 110.00-10 yen in New York and 110.63-65 yen at 5 p.m. local time on Thursday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1883-1884 dollars and 130.57-61 yen against 1.1863-1873 dollars and 130.55-65 yen in New York and 1.1841-1842 dollars and 131.00-04 yen in late Thursday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
