On June 29, ICBC and China Southern Airlines Company Limited (the “CSA”) jointly issued ICBC-CSA co-branded business card in Guangzhou. As the first airline co-branded business card in China, the card is a chip card under China UnionPay supporting contact and contactless use.
By integrating mutual resources, ICBC and CSA aimed at making travel an enjoyment by launching a value-added and preferential service chain for the whole travel process covering preferential air ticket, special airport bus, one-yuan airport parking, airport and high-speed railway VIP lounge, large-sum travel premium and tax rebates for overseas corporate business consumption. Corporate customers are entitled to exclusive transfer services in the airport, including dedicated channel, free overnight accommodation, exclusive lounge and exemption from secondary security check in China.
ICBC-CSA co-branded business card is both credit card and business card. In addition to rights and interests as ICBC credit card, card holders can also enjoy featured services exclusive to business cards. Business consumption and financial reimbursement services are provided for budget organizations at all levels and large-sized enterprises to ensure traceable consumption, basis for reimbursement, security and card usage feedback.
An official with ICBC said that ICBC has now become Asia’s largest card issuer with 110 million credit cards issued, including over 7 million business cards issued to more than 70,000 central and local Party and government departments and public institutions.
