ICBC e-Banking Increases New Services
 

Recently ICBC e-Banking successfully updated its services once again. ICBC e-Banking offers more services like birthday remittance preference for Personal Internet Banking clients and multi-account collection and inquiry for Corporate Internet Banking clients, and optimizes the functions of Internet insurance, Internet fund, Mobile Banking (WAP) and some other business so that ICBC e-Banking has realized stronger capability and more personalized services.

In terms of Internet Banking, ICBC presents birthday remittance preference for Personal Internet Banking clients. When a client operates a remittance through ICBC Personal Internet Banking at the date of his (her) birthday, he (she) can enjoy a discount of 20% of the fee. In addition, ICBC also increases fund roaming and fund share transfer to appointed account. Conversion and super-addition of insurance types as well as part redemption functions were added to ICBC internet insurance business. The function of the current deposit book has been expanded so that the current deposit book can be used for transactions of fund, national debt, gold, foreign exchange and financial products, third party depositary, bill payment as well as other business on line. Meanwhile, ICBC Internet Banking newly adds the part repayment business to self service repayment of Peony Card, i.e., when the funds are insufficient in the account of the client, the part repayment will be realized. In addition, ICBC offers multi-account collection and inquiry business for Corporate Internet Banking clients. The clients will know all balances and details in the accounts of subordinate institutions by a simple click on "Inquiry" so they can greatly enhance the efficiency in inquiring about the information of the accounts.

There are three services added in Mobile Banking (WAP): 1. clients can inquire about the historical details with Mobile Banking (WAP); 2. the newly increased scheduled payment service allows clients to submit the instruction for scheduled payment in non-business hours, and the system will automatically handle the business in next business hour; 3. the testing of cell phone compatibility will tell clients if their cell phones support Mobile Banking (WAP).

Also, ICBC increases fund transaction function in multi-media self service terminals of all banking outlets, so that clients can operate at the multi-media self service terminals of banking outlets for fund transaction, inquiry and other business. Therefore it is a very fresh and convenient way for clients to make fund transaction at banking outlets. 

According to an ICBC's official, this e-Banking update is another important measure for ICBC to meet the demands of the clients and accelerate the innovation of the e-Banking business. ICBC will be continually devoted to e-Banking business in order to offer better products, more preferences, more considerate services, and satisfy the diversified financial demands of the clients in an all round way.
