ICBC e-Fortune Link – Pooling Wealth on the Net, Reaching Fortune by A Click
 

On October 31, ICBC E-banking grandly announced another new innovative service brand of Corporate Internet Banking – ICBC e-Fortune Link.

"ICBC e-Fortune Link" is traced to the same origin with "Financial e-Channel" of ICBC E-banking and "Banking@Home" of Personal Internet Banking. Brand logo looks austere, simple and smooth, mainly in black and red. "Fortune" represents a wide spectrum of assets management and investment financing services offered to customer. "E" stands for "Yi" (a Chinese character meaning "easy", pronounced as "e" as well), vividly describe that this is a fast, simple and convenient electronic banking channel. "Fortune" and "e" stay together, "Fortune" comes because of "e", a perfect allegory to describe that ICBC Corporate Internet Banking is a service of strong feature, simple operation, high quality and widely usage.

In fact, ICBC launched Corporate Internet Banking service as early as in February 2000. Since then, ICBC kept innovated its Corporate Internet Banking products with a dedication to always serve customer first. Corporate Internet Banking became much more convenient to operate and was well received by all customers. It has been developed into an all-inclusive, cross-regional and unified fund management platform including 10 major services as management of RMB and foreign currency accounts, collection and payment, bill management, group financing and investment financing. In particular, the most recent production version 6.0 of Corporate Internet Banking has many new features as common payment, fixed deposit, electronic statement and Bank-Finance Link to dramatically improve the service quality of Corporate Internet Banking. A lot of multinational conglomerates and domestic large companies such as Shell, Volkswagen, Walmart, Haier, China Oil, Sinopec and so on all enthusiastically signed for ICBC Corporate Internet Banking service. ICBC Corporate Internet Banking was even awarded as "Best Corporate Internet Bank of China" by American journal Global Finance in 2002. Till September 2005, ICBC Corporate Internet Banking has more than 260 000 customers with transaction volume reached RMB 31 trillion from January to September in 2005.
