ICBC Enterprise Link Backs 87,000 Small and Micro Startup Businesses in First Half of 2016

In recent years, in response to national policies that facilitate innovation and business startup, ICBC has launched a one-stop service platform Enterprise Link aligning financial services with public services, which has positively boosted business startup and innovation. Statistics showed that in the first half of 2016 alone over 87,000 small and micro startup businesses are set up with the help of Enterprise Link.

According to an official with ICBC, the Enterprise Link service platform is an innovative service mode where bank outlets, technology platform and government information resources are interconnected and complemented. By extending financial services to the entire process of small and micro businesses including preparation, startup, opening and operation, the business starters are saved from much trouble. Firstly, through cooperation with government bodies including the Administration of Industry and Commerce, ICBC may provide local outlets featuring a large number and broad geographical coverage for registration and account opening. Secondly, with strength in technology platform and service network, ICBC integrates public service with financial services by extending business registration channels from paper-based review to electronic and internet-based review, which boosts the electronic and network-based development of government work and provides stronger financial support to the real economy. In addition, ICBC has launched featured services of Enterprise Link according to local business startup and innovation environment. For example, ICBC’s Shenzhen Enterprise Link platform provides businesses in Shenzhen with one-stop registration service and comprehensive financial services such as settlement, cash management, payroll payment, enterprise internet banking and business startup loan. Businesses may be granted financing multiple times their register capital, securing credit aid from the bank at the  initial stage of business startup.
