ICBC and Shangri-La Hotel Group jointly launched ICBC-Shangri-La Credit Card in Beijing on July 28. ICBC-Shangri-La Credit Card is ICBC’s first hotel co-branded credit card and also the first high-end platinum credit card with metallic logo of credit card organization.

Launched in partnership with MasterCard, VISA and China UnionPay, ICBC-Shangri-La Credit Card integrates the resources of ICBC and Shangri-La Hotel Group with the aim to consistently provide customers with excellent services and exclusive benefits. The co-branded credit card is attached with two card numbers representing both ICBC platinum credit card and Shangri-La Golden Circle Membership card. Customers may earn Golden Circle Membership award points through consumption with the card.

In addition to strong functions, ICBC-Shangri-La Credit Card offers three exclusive privileges including 3 times bonus points for consumption in Shangri-la hotels and resorts, 15% off for restaurant consumption and annual card fee exemption for the first year. Moreover, more promotions are available such as 10% discount of room rate, up to 20% off for annual gym card, rapid membership upgrading, 1,000 Golden Circle points for every RMB 30,000 spending with new card in the first three months.  Card holders can also enjoy various exclusive benefits of platinum card such as high-amount travel insurance, exclusive airport shuffle, one-yuan parking in the airport, VIP waiting room in airport and high-speed rail, flight delay insurance, free overseas WIFI, special offer of global car rental, 24-hour telephone doctor and global medical assistance.
