ICBC has recently launched its new service — QR code withdrawal, with which customers can simply use the “Scan QR Code” function in the ICBC mobile application to scan the QR code on the ATM screen. Withdrawal can be instantly completed without any physical token, making mobile banking a real “wallet” for customers.

According to ICBC, this new, safe and fantastic service is aimed at customers in urgent need of money but with no card or cash at hand. To use the service, customers may choose “QR Code Withdrawal” on the initial interface, scan the QR code with ICBC’s mobile app, input the withdrawal amount, and choose “Withdraw” on the ATM screen to finish withdrawal after ICBC e Payment verifies the request.
