Beginning from May 1, ICBC’s customers can enjoy cash return of RMB 30 for each purchase (no less than RMB 30) via cellphone-based credit cards. They also can participate in “RMB zero purchase” activities at UnionPay Cloud Quick Pass merchants including Carrefour, COSTA, Honeymoon Dessert, Starbucks, Mcdonald's, Haagen-Dazs, Dicos, etc.
ICBC became the first bank in China to release cellphone-based HCE Cloud Quick Pass credit cards in 2015. It has supported cellphone-based credit card products such as Apple Pay and Samsung Pay, and made continuous progress in technologies and safety of the cellphone-based credit cards. The world’s cutting-edge technologies (such as NFC, HCE, TSM and Token) are applied in cellphone-based credit cards. ICBC has created a new service mode featuring instant demand, response and solution, supporting offline waving payment and online one-key payment. Cards are safer through information storage in cellphone’s SE chips, cloud encryption, etc. Plus the 24-hour uninterrupted, real-time and manageable risk monitoring system, customers can really enjoy smarter, safer, faster and more convenient mobile services.
ICBC is among the first card issuers providing Apple Pay and Samsung Pay cellphone-based credit card products. Plus Android cellphone-based HCE Cloud Quick Pass products, its cellphone-based credit cards have fully covered iphones, Samsung phones and other Android phones.
