ICBC has recently launched a program to support the employment of impoverished college students, and hire 200 impoverished graduates through targeted recruitment.
According to an ICBC executive, the program reflects ICBC’s efforts in implementing China’s precise poverty alleviation policy and performing social responsibility as returns to the society. In addition, the Bank values the students' qualities such as persistence, endeavor and self-respect.
11 ICBC tier-1 branches and three institutions directly controlled by ICBC Head Office have offered job opportunities. The recruitment, with general and counter service posts available, is in favor of impoverished college students. Graduates of 2016 meeting any of the three requirements, including certificate of urban/rural minimum allowance issued by administration of civil affairs, or certificate of impoverished students pool or state scholarship (subsidy) issued by the college, or rural household registration in counties covered by national key poverty alleviation programs, may submit resume through ICBC website before April 11.
